Organ Trail: Director's Cut App Reviews

Would recommend to anyone who ever played the original Oregon Trail.

I was all ready to give this one a five star rating, until I got to the end of the game and it stops responding. I thought it was a fluke until it happened twice. Tap to enter and nothing happens...is this some sort of joke?!?!

tldr: Nostalgic fun but needs to add expansions to base game free otherwise not worth the money. If you love the original Oregon Trail and or retro games, youre going to love the nostalgia in here. Another favorite feature is that you can name your survivors which make their deaths or infections more humorous and/or tragic HOWEVER. The game is not worth 3$. With that said, they have expansions for additional money which I believe should be INCLUDED in the premium purchase. More events and more upgrades? That should be a quality of life update and not an expansion that cost additional money. I would definitely hold off on buying this and find similar experiences for free on desktop. Just search, "games like Oregon Trail."

This game is absolutely amazing, the music makes the game very foreboding and the gameplay is absolutely stellar. At first I thought I would hate it since it was based on Oregon trail but I absolutely love it to death and beyond. There is just one problem though. And no it is not the fact that I had to pay for expansions or that the game was 3 dollars. Its the fact that clements quest seems to have a problem when I cant get past the giant mountain after Las Vegas. For some reason I always slow down to a crawl when I get to the mountain and I dont know how to go faster. I have seen youtubers play it and they go over the mountain like its cake walk. I would like and update where it is not hard to accelerate to top speed on any incline, or at least a way to go faster. The game is stellar but clements quest needs to be fixed, sooner rather than later. Other than that the game is well made and I am just addicted to it. Thanks for all your work so far.

This game took a boring 8 hour car ride into and adventure!

I thought this was the old school Oregon Trail. Suddenly Im meant to be shooting zombies and Im traveling by station wagon?! Nope. Disappointed. Waste of $3.00.

The games save point after it froze that one time put me back against the boss battle with the squid on suicide, pretty fun side games on this game should keep up the cool updates on it

Music is AMAZING. Gameplay is ADDICTIVE! Love this game

Fun, good balance of frustrating and easy, but watch out! You could lose all your hard earned progress to a bug. I was more than halfway through, doing great on suicide mode and when I try to start back up, all of a sudden I have to administer medicine, which I already did days ago, and Im on the road again at -915 miles when I had left off in a town some 4,000 miles in. Guess I wont be investing anymore time in this game!

Awesome game! :) brings me back to the good ol days of playing "oregon trail" on a 50 pound box monitor. Lol.

Tried to find an alternative to the original Oregon Trail since I couldnt stand the one currently on the App Store, but I found one I like so much better. Engaging, funny, and extremely addicting.

This game will kick your butt. You will enjoy the process immensely. Inspired by Oregon Trail, but so much deeper and more challenging. The graphics are spot on.
